RFICM had the privilege of working with the Open Arms Childcare Ministries charitable organization.
Open Arms Childcare Ministries is a non-profit charity that provides no-cost childcare to needy families. It is located in La Mision, Baja California, Mexico. Open Arms provides assistance to families who are in desperate need of childcare services.
Children in Mexico need your help and we can connect you with the annual mission to help build day care facilities. Open arms takes children from the streets into a safe and spiritually uplifting place to become teens and adults to live a better life.
Best Buddies Challenge
RFICM is participating in the Best Buddies Challenge an event sponsored by Best Buddies International, a global volunteer movement that creates opportunities for one-to-one friendships, integrated employment and leadership development for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Founded in 1989 by Anthony Kennedy Shriver, Best Buddies has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,500 middle school, high school, and college campuses across the country and internationally. Our programs engage participants in each of the 50 United States and on six continents, positively impacting 700,000 individuals each year.
Ride with us to raise money for the Best Buddies Mark will ride 100 miles this summer from Carmel to Hearst castle to raise money for Best Buddies teens and young adults who are mentally challenged to make it into the work place. Contribute or join us for the ride.
World Vision: Sponsor a Child
RFICM supports World Vision which is a Christian humanitarian organization dedicated to working with children, families, and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.
